At the Dublin workshop a number of changes to the Rules and Procedures were accepted, and some areas for further work identified. It was left to Deborah Wolfe and Andrew Cleland to further develop those areas. The two major areas affected are sections 4 and 6 of the guidelines. Section 6 is new material for which the principles were agreed at Dublin and the detailed proposal has been developed. Section 4 has been expanded, but the changes made were not foreshadowed at Dublin. In this case, a set of guidelines were brought forward by CCPE which were already in use by some review teams, and it was deemed sensible to add this material into section 4. There is nothing at odds with what was stated previously, but rather more detail has been added. The only other changes are improved consistency of terminology. It had been intended to retain a track-changed version, but when the section numbering was fixed up the track changed copy was unfortunately not retained. However, delegates to the workshop can be assured that the only new changes are those outlined above. Checking was carried out by Basil Wakelin. If there are further comments or suggestions can these be relayed to Andrew Cleland as soon as possible. Otherwise it is intended that this document be presented for approval in Washington in June 2007.
